My husband and I go to Forties' events regularly, and what I wouldn't give for that outfit! How stylish Ladies looked in the forties!

Gladys, is your Mum and Dad's wedding featured on a video called "A Platt Bridge Story"? And do you live in Platt Bridge? If so, what is/was your husband's name? Hope you don't mind all these questions.

Irene, my mam was very stylish, and she had a fox fur..but always wore the tallest heels she could find..she used to hang the fur out of the back bedroom window to keep it aired..anyway Mrs Keeley who's mentioned at the beginning of the Wallgate thread was going down Ropewalk which was at the backs of our houses..she spotted the fox fur and went running round the front banging on our front screaming "Anne..there's a dog trying to get through your bedroom window"..she never did live that one down.

Gladys, Is this photo taken at the front of the Weslyan chapel that stood on Walthew Lane?
