How smart they look!
Irene, the last time we went to Botany Bay..which was a few months ago, there was a stall on the second floor that specialised in selling 30s and 40s clothes..I just thought you would be interested..I thought about you when I saw them.
Yes, we've see it, Maureen, but thankyou. I have a "new" hat made out of my late Mother-in-law's 1980's/90's hat.....a lady at a forties event showed us how to do it, and we got some flowers from Botany Bay to trim it up, and it cost us next to nothing. They charge a fortune at the forties events! My hubby Peter has just read your comment on the other pic, re the lady banging on the door saying a dog was trying to get through the window, and he was hysterical! I am in the bedroom on the computer, and I can hear him still laughing in the shower.....you've made our day!
gorgeouse, just look at that fur !!!
My "posh" grandma also had a fur wrap similar to the one shown, I was terrified of the fox's head as there was a clip under the chin to open the jaws and fasten it to the oppposite side! Grandma also had two fur coats one of which she gave to my mother. This one I was attached to and went to bed wearing it. When my Dad came to tuck me in he thought our cat had got in with me, looking back it possibly was made of cat fur!
That's another good one Irene isn't it.
It is, Maureen, but I am still laughing this morning about your neighbour!
It was funny though wasn't it Irene..you only have to picture a bushy tail hanging out of the window...I bet you'll never look at a fox fur in the same light again.
