I agree....and so beautifully turned out. People took a real pride in their appearance then, especially on special days like Walking Day.

Ive just studied it again and the pub sign seems to have an "M". Maybe for Magees?
Springfield was a Walkers pub, I think?
I'm still not 100% sure which pub it is!

I still think it's the Pagefield, Ian - but as you know I'm not Wright all the time.
