Another of the several generations of Lewis family graves in St Wilfrid's Standish.
William was the son of John and Kate Lewis (photo of grave previously submitted) and one of my grandfather's brothers. I am grateful for Christine's efforts to provide me with all these photos for my ancestry research as I cannot do it personally. Christine and I are both Lewis descendants. Neither Christine nor I know who the Charles Thomas was on the gravestone.

On the 1911 Census there wsa a Charles Thomas age 62 working on Brimelow Farm Standish Standish Wigan as a labourer.could be the same Charles

Very much appreciate the information about Charles. I will let Christine know also. She grew up at Brimelow.
