When named it was numbered 86316.It then became 86416 but was cut up by C.F.Booth's in Rotherham in June 2005. Bill.

im sure the name plate was put on a class 31 loco i saw it in the 1990s working on the southport line

When the class 86 was de-named, the nameplate was taken up by a class 31 (31421) in Feb 1993 but this loco met its fate at a scrapyard in Kingsbury not far from Tamworth in August 2007.Bill.
