Tricia x
Thanks Ann and Tricia ,lovely to hear from you ,I`m keeping well .
Hya Marlene, what a lovely photo, brings back memories of Qeen Street. I think a lot of us girls had to go through the ritual of ribbons and bows on special occasions. Was this a walking day? Hope you are all well, give my regards to everyone.
Barbara
I have Taberners in my Family Tree and it is very likely, from what I do know, that we may be related.
Tricia.
I think it must have been walking day Barbara .Unfortunately I have very few childhood photos .Harold is 57 now ,he doesn`t look it though .
Have you any Queen St photos?
Marlene it is your mother who is relateted down the line to the KINGS.
Msrlene I am sure we have quite a few photos but Betty will have them as she has most of the old photosfrom my mums. Will see what I can come up with.
Tricia, there was another family in Queen Street who were Taberners as well. My dad was originally from Enfield Street.
Hi Barbara
My Taberners are back to mid 1800's so far.
My 2 Gt maternal Grandparents were named Ellen and Thomas One census address when Ellen was widowed was Queen St and a son, Thomas , lived in Billinge Road . Maybe they are still related.
four lovely little girls, you,re mum must have been justifiably proud of you
I think i'm in this picture but in mum's tummy, that's why she's hiding at the back hehe.
