My Grandfather Stephen Dix sadly died serving in Greece during WW1 with the Manchester Regt.

Love these studio photo's Steve, precious memories, I have one of my husbands grandfather Jack Prescott b1878 it's on here you've probably seen it and I have just had it restored, it looks fab, only cost me £8 from a company on the net, well worth the money looks like new.
My family tree contains members of the Dix family through the Glenncross family.my great grandfather was John James Dix Glencross who was born in Wigan in 1859. Do you know if there is any c connection?
My family have Dix and Glencross i know where the Glencross family grave is and the family business was in King Street Wigan.
