A wedding before my time but I know of everyone in this photo. I recall Auntie Jennie as such a quiet & gentle person & Uncle Joe was so good at telling 'jokes' that I can remember to this day. My Mother's brother Uncle Tommy Bryson, such a handsome man. Its nice to know that the two sides of my family, the Bradshaw's & Bryson's got on so well together

Did Enid Barton later become Enid Ashall - a teacher at UpHolland Infant School?

Yes, Enid later married Harold Ashall and became a teacher.Roy Jayne was the brother of Joe Jayne who at one time was partner in the tyre company Hill and Jayne, in Pottery Road.John Bradshaw was manager at Stones pit in Liverpool Road Ashton in Makerfield.

She was at UpHolland Grammar School all around the same time as my mother, and later taught me at the village infants' school.

I have a pic of Enid in her Upholland School uniform. I will post it soon. When I lived at Wigan & used to go to Derby Street School in Ormskirk ( don't ask me why ?) Enid was already teaching there or somewhere in Ormskirk & would be on my bus in the mornings...my cousin a teacher & on my bus !
