This was Edna arriving at the church for her wedding accompanied by her dad Ted Twigg. Ted was a foreman at the ROF at Euxton and Edna worked at Niman's the jewellers in Mesnes Street. The shop is now Subway

Fred no wonder you was fast through showers at the end of shift, also could never work out why you was so fast on your bike going home can now LOL, but you was a fit young man in 1955/9 when I knew you, is that right Tumtingle
