Just curious, did your uncle, William Dawber have any sisters or brothers. Have done my family tree and my grandmother was Jane Dawber and had a brother William, but I have not been able to trace him.

hello M Grundy.I am sorry it has taken so long.Ihad a word on the phone with my cousin and she said her dad had a half brother she couldnt remember his name but she knew he lived in Yorkshire.I am sorry I Cant be more helpful.Good luck with the family tree.I have tried it myself Iknow how hard and expensive it can be. Hello M Grundy.I am sorry but my cousin doesnt hae a computer or email address.Irang her and she said her dads half brother was called Jim Fitzpatrick.he lived in Doncaster.He also had a sister whose name was Elizabeth but everyone called her Bet.she said her name was H0lland and she lived down Miry lane in wigan.I am sorry i cant be of more help.anyway Good Luck with it.
