Hi Janie...I'm very well, and hope you are too..I just love those shots of Victoria Street,I've said this before but I wish someone would have had the foresight to have taken some or even one of Great George Street.Have you read the Wallgate thread on communicate ..if not click on it at the top of this page then click on people, scroll down to find Wallgate families.I don't know whether you know or not but Irene McGovern died the year before last..I do miss her,she wasn't in the best of health for a long time,I went to see her every week.Well it's been great talking to you as it were, will keep in touch.Bye for now.

Hiya Maureen.did you know anyone called whittle. My grandad died in 1907 and my grandmother remarried someone called whittle they lived on great george st.I was very sorry to hear about Irene.I know what it is like to lose someone you care about but in time you willremember her with fondness and love.

No Janie, the only Whittles I know was Maureen in our class...but if you go on the Wallgate page that I mentioned above someone will know I'm sure of that...the trouble is I lived at the top of Great George Street and it was very long,so I didn't know all the names...good luck.
