My Uncle George and 'Owd Jack. Taken in Car Street, Platt Bridge. Not sure of the date. The street is surfaced now, but I can remember it was unsurfaced for many years. I think it was cobbled originally, we kids used to spend time trying to dig up the odd ones that were left!
