My late Aunt, Esther Kehoe (nee Miller) is the middle of the three ladies in white carrying the statue. Maybe taken in the mid 50s on Lily Lane, Platt Bridge.

Holy Family School can be seen in the background.

This is a nice photo to see, me & my dad Mike only found out a couple of days ago that Esther had passed away. I always remember her at my Nana Maud's when me & my brother were kids and she used to get us to lie on the floor and put our feet together and we used to peddle, it was hilarious to us as kids, we used to go round my Nans and shout lets do 'peddling', we still laugh about it now. Rest In Peace Esther.

i live in brussels and have lost touch with my family so the news of autie esther's death is very sad.I remember living with her, uncle joe, jacqueline and grandma kehoe for a year in 1963 and it was one of the happiest in my life.Thankyou so much for these pictures and bringing back the memories,
