Is that the same Dick Ollerton who worked down Standish Hall Coliery & used to go in Scot Lane club?

yes art it is the very same miner who went in scot lane labour club,

no bluey it was his nephew Richard {Dicky} who worked at hienz. he was my brother, He died last year sadly.

I knew Dicky, his brothers Bob & Stan from those days.
Sadly bob lost his life down the pit, Stan trained as a Shot Firer/Fireman...Three good lads

I don,t know if he worked there, but I do know he worked at Albert pit Bickershaw Bold and ended his time at Parkside in 1970.
