The blond girls name was Judith and she rode a small 50cc motorcycle called "PUCH";
the elder boy left was the leader of the troop.
Are we supposed to know what DPSG means?
The Deutsche Pfadfinderschaft Sankt Georg (DPSG, German Scout Association Saint George) is the largest of Germany's many Scouting organizations.
thanks, crackers well done!
I thought, people who are interested in such things know that!
Roland it was the Summer of 1974. I was there and do remember you and a couple of the others Manfred,Leo and Hans Otto. I do remember the 2 girls and I think the blonde girl was Judith Grundy but can`t remember the others name. The scout leader sat next to Hans Otto is Arthur Cunliffe who unfortunately passed away a few years ago
My father ,John Webb was scout master when we went to Ireland in 1970, Ashton 1971 and Jaegersberg 1972 .
He remembers Klein,Mettzinger, Schindler and Furber with great fondness. He asks was your father calles Marcel ?
In Jaegersberg 1972 I and my brother became friendly with Franz Klein and stayed with his family for a few nights during the camp.
Do you have any more photos from these camps ? They certainly brought back happy memories
Roland do you have any photos of the Jagerbourg camp or Ashton camp. Ps are you the same Roland Graf that used to ride off on my Triumph 500cc motorbike. Mick
Boy this pic brings back memories! Roland - I think you came for tea to my parents house in Ashton - would love to see more, Phil Cunliffe
Thanks a lot! I`m that Roland, who rode the Triumph and had tea with Phil's family.
My father's name is Marcel and he is still well with 86yo
Mr. Klein died at an traffic accident (he never rode a car)about 5 years.
Most of the other boys are still living near Jaegersburg, some have families and their children are scouts.
It was a great time with you!!!
