Can anyone help me with a couple of questions to this pic ? It shows my mother holding my hand & my Granny Bryson, we had arrived in England that winter from India, where my Dad worked for many years in the cotton industry. From the background can anyone work out where in Wigan it may have been taken & does anyone know what, if there was any, the uniform of the Bluecoat School, am I wearing it ?

It look's like it could be Montrose Avenue Pemberton, but not sure.Worsley Hall in the back ground, but I am not sure of the date this Estate was built, must have been around this time.

I can't offer any help I'm afraid Helen but, as always, it's of interest and has mood and depth; unfoldng and displaying the gone.
