Little Me outside my childhood home, 85, Ince Green Lane,behind St. Williams Presbytery Garden Wall. The site is now part of St. Williams School Grounds.This would be mid-1950s.

hi irene what was the shop called at the end of your row on ince green lane i use to call in every morning going to school when i was little with mi mam for some toffies.

Tony, it was at the end of the next row, at the bottom of George Street. It changed hands two or three times during my childhood, but the name I best remember it as was Connie's.At one time, a lady called Phyllis took over who came from Abram,where I live now, and we imagined it was miles away! There was also a family moved in at one point called Moorcroft. Hope one of these names ring a bell.

Hi Irene this is a lovely little photo of you, my Mum told me where abouts you lived in Ince this was probably taken around the same time as the one of my Mum was taken she said there wasn't much difference between you both in age.
