My sister Anne Bradshaw 3rd from left in a white dress. It may have been taken about 1948/49.
Without wishing to seem rude, do you know to which school your sister went?
The school motto over the stage ends in "vincit"

I think it's Labor Omnia Vincit = Work Conquers All, and I recognise that motto but can't for the life of me think where from...maybe the old Ashton Council or Grammar Schol?
I think Google has solved the mystery of this, also a closer look at the photo. The motto above the stage is most likely ' Labour Conquers All '
The school is not even in England after all. It is St Marys Convent in the Lower Himalayas at a place called Nainital. My sister & I went to school there in the summer to escape the heat where we lived in Kanpur, (Cawnpore) Uttah Pradesh.
It was probably taken in 1946/47. Still, I hope its ok for Wigan World as Anne was born in Swinley Road, Wigan !
