Wigan Album

My sister Anne aged about 3yrs in 1938/39 in the garden of our bungalow in India, I think the house in the background was lived in by the Big Chief of The Muir Mills where my Dad was employed as manager. All the bungalows were in a compound & owned by the mill.
Our Ayah had been with us since my brother was born in 1932 & went everywhere with us,her word was law & we had to behave ourselves or else !
