Again taken in the early 1950's at Holland Moor.
Another posed pic I should think as the whisky bottle is hidden behind the Spanish galleon & the Chianti bottle lamp pulled forward...Sammy the goldfish was by courtesy of the local Rag & Bone man. Me at the back reading the Dandy, it doesn't look like the 'Girl' comic...remember boys had the ' Eagle' ? Anyone who has read Fred Foster's memories on this website may know the chest in the pic is featured..it used to be in our Granny Bradshaw's front room in Newtown, today it's in our hall.
