June 11th 1977 at Ince Parish Church.
Everyone had a great day and the reception was held at Ince Town Hall. At that time, I actually lived in the little house than adjoined the town hall.
After we married we moved to Lord Street, Hindley.

Kipper ties were all the rage in the 70s. We later cooked it and ate it at the reception!

Bill, You must be the laziest bloke I have heard of,, Lived next to Ince Town Hall. Married in Ince Parish, (next Door) Reception in the Town Hall (next door again) .....I must also remark that Janice has the most wonderful smile

Just in the right place at the right time. And it certainly saved money not having to hire cars for the wedding!

PS...We did hire a car for the bride as she lived in Hindley!
