I have just noticed this picture, I am the son of Norman Turner who owned the above garage.He was the son of Alfred Thomas Turner who started the business I also think the picture is about 1965 I started work there when i left shevy school in 1969

Edward; You may remember a Graham Crompton that worked there, I think he went to Timberlakes after leaving Turner Garage.

Hi Alan yes I did work with alan lea remember him well he was a good mechanic his dad was a coal man and I went to school with his twin sisters annette and lynne

Hi Peter w I vaguely remember graham crompton who worked at the garage but I would have still been at school then he did go to timberlakes then did he start up a coach buisness after not sure?

it's mid 60's, I worked there from 63 to 73. The mk2 Jaguar on the right belonged to Dr.Brittain who was anesthetist at Wigan Infirmary,the Ford Zephyr4 to a Mr Cheetham,and the Bedford van to the garage,it was later replaced with an Austin. Graham Crompton worked at Timberlakes before Turners and left to run his own coach firm.

I worked with Bob Norris and remember the car owners he mentioned. Also worked with Tommy Seed and big Bill Kitts. Met Graham Crompton years later.

I worked after leaving school in 1974 and it was Harrison's Garage they took it over in late 1973.
