Thanks Dougie. Although the old photos had already been posted on the site, I thought it would be interesting to compare them with present day photos of the same locations.

I remember in the 1960's the pebbledash building being a suppermaket I think it was called martons.

In the 'new' photograph, the first building on the right hand side was 'Claytons Butchers Shop' - owned by Harold Clayton.
