Photo of Market Place probably 1960's when the Market Place and Market Street was still open to traffic. What seems confusing is the one way street sign, yet the bus is facing the opposite direction

The one way sign actually referred to a little road which ran from Market Place and went behind the toilets and came out on Market Street, it was more of a layby than a road.
