Back in the sixties I vaguely recall a couple of old barns near where the photograph was taken. I don't remember exactly when they were taken down but I do remember playing in them during hot summer days.

The barns belonged to Mellings farm,we used to play in them when we went to St. Nats school,the path went down to the cocky brook and Sammys flood.

Was there anything we're the fields are in the pic before this was taken? There's a new estate going up now.
