I never realised there was a Nissan garage behind where Primark is now. I am assuming it was accessed via Crompton Street?

December 1, 1985 was a Sunday and the ring road is being built. Three churches, St George CE, St John RC and presbytery, and the former United Reformed with spire. The Drill Hall will soon be demolished, and the most modern building is where Tiffany's nightclub, Bryan House clinic, Toy and Hobby, Fads DIY and Alkers shoe shop used to be. There was a newsagents that later became the Wigan rugby shop.
