I remember East View in Ince very well....it was known as "Can Row" and there was a little brook in front of it where we children used to fish for cockies with little fishing nets bought from the papershop. Sometimes the brook overflowed and flooded the houses.

You don't very often see the word 'cockies' - me and my mates used to go 'cockying' at Marus Bridge.
