The JP registered Hillman car outside Stokers would have been new, or nearly new, in 1939.

Some wag with a long ladder was having some fun when they painted over the gold R in CHEER, so it read '& GOOD CHEEP TEA.'
Wonder if Taylor's saw the joke.
