The main shop is now the Beech Hill Premier Convenience Store. There's a pedestrian crossing in front of it.

Yes Standisher..it's owned by Mr and Mrs Singh..although I haven't seen Mr Singh for a week or two but I just want to say there can't be a nicer couple than they are.

I've got my bearings now that Standisher has mentioned the Convenience Store and the pedestrian crossing.....I used to pass it on the Beech Hill Circular bus three times a week when I used to pick up my grandchildren from St. Andrew's School. I could easily have caught the bus going the other way round and been at the school in five minutes but I used to enjoy the longer ride round and liked to note the change in people's gardens as the year progressed, from daffodils to snow! I have never had a garden and like looking at other people's.
