I too remember this cream and how folks would swear to its efficacy.
I've often wondered what happened to those display cases that were hung above Platt's Chiropody and Herbal stall in the market hall, they contained various oddities supposedly growing on and removed from the feet of folks by the chiropodist, they certainly were a sight to make you cringe.
I can remember this at home. I imagine it would have been used by my mother she always had painful feet with one thing and another especially her bunions.
I remember this Veronica from when I was young,it was always around for bunion and corns at home. I had a bunion removed because it was always getting infected, that was years ago, and I still have pain were it was.I wish I had just used Platt's foot cream.
my mum took me to the dr platt stall i had really bad eczema all over my head he gave us some platts ointment it was like thick honey he told her to wash my head every night with carbolic soap and then smooth this all over my head then a bandage and it cured it after a few weeks doctors could'nt cure it but he did
