Wigan Corporation Bus parked at the corner of Millgate and Market Place This wasn't a regular bus stop so no idea of why it's parked there?

This bus on route 2, Wigan to Bryn, shared the departure point just
ahead of it with the " Every 10 minutes bus to Ashton ". Route 2 for
Bryn operated every 30 minutes.
