The Recorders . The Marraccas . The blocks you knocked together . All beyond the pain threshold now , but back then a wonderful introduction into the most life affirming thing that humanity has ever invented .

Good memories, Poet! EGBDF was "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" at Ince Central, and ACEG was "All Cows Eat Grass". I still remember things in that way. We used to sing" I'll go no more a-roving", "Bobby Shaftoe" and "Ye Banks and Braes" amongst many others, including "Go and tell Aunt Nancy the old grey goose is dead", which always had me in floods of tears! Unfortunately I had a voice like two cracked plates and still have!
