Magic. Every kid must have made a robot like that .
Yoghurt pots . Papier mache . Powder paint . Loads of mess .
Takes me back to my sticky back plastic Blue Peter days .
' Here's one I made earlier ' (?•???•?)

I only realised a few weeks ago that 'sticky back plastic' was BBC speak for Sellotape - a trade name the presenters weren't allowed to use.

I always thought sticky-back-plastic was "Fablon", the stuff you could buy on a big roll in different patterns to cover kitchen tables etc.

You're right, Irene - but the idea of Blue Peter projects was to stick otherwise waste materials together with glue or Sellotape, with any decoration being with cheaper powder paints.
