In 1999 a Manchester biologist said that sheep were more intelligent than we thought and able to open doors with their teeth, untie knots on gates and even respond to their names.
Aspull farmer Gerald Johnson of Walkers Lower Farm, seen here with one of his flock, said that the only response he got from his sheep was when they knew he was bringing them some food.

Lovely photo Frank, It's similar to dogs,some are very intelligent. But they live for food, love, and walks.
