If only they knew then what would happen..
Why they ever got rid of the Market Hall I will never understand. I blame Wigan Council.

got rid of market hall, tried to get rid of haigh hall, knocking down shopping area that was built where arcades, shops and pubs were located leaving a non-entitity of a town centre that will be perpetuated by blocks of flats, built a civic centre that sits unused that is some record for a council

I ceased voting years ago monkey with a red rosette town and no point voting against thousands majority
