Ena, Minnie and Martha on the left!
This picture is a Christmas market from December 1966.
What a fantastic photo, Ron! I has a parasol made for my wedding by Coleclough and Massey, in the row of shops shown in the distance. Agreed, Veronica, about the gossiping ladies on the left. I can almost hear them...."An' the colour of 'er nets! Black as a crow! They say 'er's walkin' out wi' yon mon from t' Co-op.......'im off t'bacon counter wi' a bawd yed...you know 'im....lives near t'pickle-works in Ince.....their Gladys wed a Yank."
Love this Irene, you've got them off to a T.I can just hear the neighbours in our street, when I was young!!
Veronica and Irene, you are something else, you really are, made me laugh no end, thanks for brightening my day !. Ron, brilliant photo you posted Frank must be delighted.
We aim to please, Walt....isn't that right, Dolly dear? xx
It certainly is Laura dear, don't forget to give me my hat back with the feather in it!
See you in the Snug...
