Beautiful, not just the fish pond at Haigh Hall, but the two of you, lovely.
I need a sherry.
Didn’t the pond look better without that ugly black fencing all the way round it?
Can we expect some more pictures now you’ve got the hang of it Veronica?
Still close friends after all those years, and of being miles apart. Capital!
Thank you Garry - ever the gentleman. Dtease - one or two - a rather nice one with the slaughter house in Hardybutts. Yes Philip , she was and is a good friend. Only met once in all those years about 7 yrs ago. It's all a bit 'in the air' at the moment.
Lovely photo Veronica,I am so glad you are mastering this.I am still confused, and I hope to see more.I have been thinking of your Australian trip.I do hope you get there.Sept. is 4 months away yet.So you may be lucky.I hope so.x
Which girl is you Veronica ?!
Thanks Edna, don't forget if you have any just email me. It's a pity I haven't got any from 'our gang' from the days around Linney St...! xx
Nice photograph, Veronica , looking to seeing the one in Hardybutts.
Kind regards, Tom.
I'm on the right Helen, trouble is these old photos are a bit blurred. Thanks Tom, not sure if the slaughterhouse is interesting enough though. I do have a wedding photo with the old girl's school on it...but ...( might just drip feed one or two)
Well done Veronica, look forward to your next photos.
I know Veronica,it is a shame we didn't,take any photos of our gang in the early 60's.We didn't have two hapennies for a penny never mind a camera. But we had fun.x
Edna - we certainly didn't have much spending money. I recall taking bottles back to pay for the window we broke at the out door licence... And it was an accident!
Yes we had to pay half a crown each until it was paid for.We thought we had done a murder. Those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end!!!
