I must correct you Dtease it's Our Lady's church , there's only one Our Lady in the Catholic Church! .....
Not sure of the full title, could it be Our Lady of Lourdes or another title? Lovely photo in the setting sun?
I take your point Veronica.
It's full title is: Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
Veronica, it is Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.
Thank you I knew it would be one of her titles - she has so many... Hope you don't mind Dtease.
No Veronica, I don't mind at all.
I like how the notice board stands out, DTease. Its light-blue background's a bit 'louder' than the blues of Nacre, but as 'Nacre' has such fine all-round appeal, Nacre is what I'll call it. A very good architectural photo, too.
Dtease, thanks for the pic its a wonderful reminder that FIFTY years ago last August we were married in this church, our treasured photograph shows us stood to the side of the porch after the service, the photographer was from Eric Thursby's of Crompton Street, Wigan. Father Moriarty was the priest back in those days, goodness, that's gone quickly !.
Our Ladies Church is at Haigh Road, Aspull.
