Veronica, a regular contributer, in an earlier comment, mentioned this Grotto.
Oh, Albert, how lovely! You look so happy and what a beautiful photo. Thankyou for letting us see this. xx
That's a lovely photo of the happy couple. I first saw the grotto about 1960 and I wondered if it had been built specially to mark the centenary of the Lourdes apparitions of 1858. I last visited about 2 years ago.
i am sure the lad on the right end is david jacobs from hen st scholes.
Albert, we too were married on the 2nd of September 1961 in Kent....
Nice one Albert.

Albert, going off topic and just in case you haven't seen it, Jimmy Hooper left a personal message for you on item 30781 now on page 3 of this album. Please accept my apologies for intruding if you have already seen it, but sometimes, once photos disappear from page one, no one ever seems to comment on them again.
Albert,that's a lovely photo,and I'm sure you'll treasure it forever.
Good day my 19th birthday
Thank you John. I would not have seen the message. Thank you once again. I will send him an email
John. I did email Jim Hooper, and he has replied. Thank you for drawing my attention to his message..
