Hi Fred, Is st marks still using the church,very sad to see it looking so run down and lost after all the years of being loved and looked after to be let go this way.viv
That is a very sad picture. I remember going there with my Auntie Annie & Uncle Fred after Sunday tea with them. Also for other Foster family occasions.
The chapel is now disused and scheduled for demolition. There are plans in place to build a pair of semi detached houses in it's place. In 2012 at was sold to Valley Church, who had hoped to get it going again, but nothing came of it. St Marks used it for a while as their youth club while alterations were going on. but now it has been abandoned.I have a pic of the proposal to build and will try to upload it
