I remember the Red Lion when it was a lovely stone building. I can't understand why it was demolished....there must have been good reason???

It hasn't been demolished, Vb, just made into housing. It used to be a lovely place to have a meal. x.

Yes I remember going for meals in the early seventies. So they must have had the stonework covered up ..... Can't understand them doing that. I love stone buildings Irene.
