To my knowledge and others older than me, eg born 1938, there has never been a school attached to the church and presbytery. St Maries school was further down Almond Brook Rd just before the petrol station and the Charnley pub.

Correct,Roy.The building on the right was the Church hall.

The building between the church and the church hall is the presbytery (the priest's house). The school was further down Almond Brook Road opposite Cat i'th' Window Cottage.
