The event may be Easter parade,most of the women have floral bonnets,
And all of them appear in there Sunday best,no vest and jeans with flip flops here.

Ron. It seems to be an affluent part of Wigan, having regard to look of the houses, and the size of the front garden.

I thought it could be Haigh rd going up to the Balcarres but don't know if there were tramlines up there ! It's possible as there used to be a brewery up there.
