Vicar of St. Mark's, Newtown (1963-1979). During Mr. McDonald's time at St Mark's emphasis was given to youth outreach, visiting by lay people, home bible study and prayer groups, and mission. In 1973, as part of "Call to the North", Parish visitation teams made up of 2 Anglicans, 2 Roman Catholics and 2 Non-Conformists visited homes in the Parish.
