Guide book full of information for Aspull and the surrounding areas. A sentence in this guide book states that the illustrations are by Austin Lyons of Hindley. I think they had a photographers shop in Wigan at one point.

I don't know about Wigan but Austin Lyons was well known in Hindley and he had a shop in Market Street.

Hi Ken, nice to hear from you, how's the weather in Holland? As regards the inside of the book, I am a bit concerned about copyright, but I have contacted the producer in London to ask permission to put some of the pictures inside the book on to Wigan World, I will let you know if they reply.
