What is the point of "flipping it"? It just confuses aanyone trying to identify the site.
If you came from Ashton and knew Warrington Road and the Bay Horse, you wouldn't be asking that question
I'm sorry Dougie but being an in-comer to the area (37 years ago) I know the Bay Horse and Warrington Road now, but didn't long ago. And I can't think of any reason why the pisture should be "flipped". Please explain.
Click on places,then Ashton(96),then page 5, you will see the same photo not flipped and they are saying it is Wigan Road Bryn, as I Too have lived in the Ashton area all my life I could see the photo was the wrong way round, I did put a comment on saying it should be flipped thats why I uploaded it again
Ah! It sounded as though you had flipped it from the original for no particular reason. All is clear.
You must not have seen the first photo and you can't add another photo to the origanal post,so as most of the people just look wouldn't be able to flip it so I re-uploaded it the right way for everyone to see. (Sorry for mix up)
