The Turnkey, one of my favourite places in Wigan in the 70s and early 80s, spent some hours in there and Bluto's as well.

Hi walshy wast the linda you mentioned linda topping nice lady and a good pool player put fear in the soul of opponents she played in commercial pool team sadly no longer with us

Steve, thats the one, lovely person and very, very sad what happened to her, I remember when she had the underground, in king st, and she told mal meninga to behave himself otherwise he'd be out

my then boyfriend (now husband) took me to the turnkey on my 21st birthday in 1973. Unfortunately, the meal was awful and it put a spoiler on what should have been a lovely day.
