Can anyone provide info as to where the hotel was locared and when it was demolished etc?

That's the Queen's Head pub. It stood at the top of Library St before the road was made through around the turn of the century

So the council at that time were vandalising the town too, wonder what other gems of buildings were demolished to make way for Library Street.

in 1869 W. Barnes is listed at 22 Standishgate, so it might have been demolished before then
