Thanks keith, brings back good memories that pic i lived a few doors away from there, my father used to park his coach on that land for the fee of £6.00 per week

When were the cottages between Cromptons and the White House demolished? I know I remember the White House, the building next to it and the cottages on the other side of the building... But not sure if my memory of the other cottages is for real or just from pics I've seen... Anyway, the Downall Green of my childhood is by far better than the D G of today......Glad to see you back posting Keith ..
