It looks as if it's boarded up - presumably it was demolished soon after. Thanks for acknowledging the source - always useful when folks have 'stolen' pics from existing publications - others might like to buy the books as a result of seeing a pic here. Is the Calendar currently available?

The towpath lay out is still the same and they still keep them wooden beams that are stacked up on the left for blocking off the locks in the exact same position.

My great grandfather was lock keeper here in the late 1800s before moving to Dean lock to take up the lock keepers job there. It is the first photo I have seen of this property and if the calender is still available I would like to obtain one. Does anyone know if this is still available?

Don't think its still available, but I will make some enquiries, there where quite a few really old pictures of the village on there too
